Pretty much anything that can be done on the computer can be done from anywhere. In 2020 we will see more & more jobs moving in that direction. The number of people who work from home has increased by 140% since 2005.
As a freelancer, you have platforms such as UpWork and Fiverr to help you get started. But if you really want to control the whole process, set up a Shopify store to sell your services!
- Teach an online course
Teaching online is a low-investment business idea that can generate great passive income. First, you get to teach something on a subject that you are an expert in, so it’s probably something that you enjoy and will come easy to you. Then if it gains popularity, you earn money and feel gratitude for teach! While it requires a more upfront effort to start, if you are able to get students interested it will be an excellent residual income that keeps on coming!
- Write a book
